It's a really nice photo, only thing that spoils it for me is the dog's "is it over already?" expression. Since I read the girl's expression as "you're my protector/precious", the dog could use a bit more expression himself.
Not saying it's a bad shot, by no mean. I just like the 'tell me a secret' variant better for example.

I actually own that kind of dog. it's called a great pyrenees, and they are wonderful dogs, but they bark a lot and shed like a tree in fall. I love them.
