I looked at this, went past and came back to look again. And Again. There is so much here to capture the eye and hold it, even though it looks so simplistic. I find myself wondering about what else is in the water, how cold or warm it is, if she's floating or lying on a muddy bottom. Isn't that exactly what a photo is supposed to do, make you ask questions? Terrific!
I second the comment by Zemotion: this is so lovely as to be almost beyond words. The colour pallette is simple yet gorgeous with the black of Leah's dress and her hair, and that wonderful amber smoke-like wreath around her head. This should sit beside Millais' 'Ophelia' - in fact, I think if Shakespeare was alive today he would smile and say: 'That IS Ophelia'!
